dB Technologies DVA-M2M+M2S - 2-Way Active (Master+Slave) design Line Array System
INCLUDES: (1) Active and (1) Passive Module
Each unit of DVA MINI system is comprised of two line array modules, each with two 6.5" neodymium woofers and two 1" high-frequency compression drivers. The M2M module is the master module that contains the 400-watt Digipro G3 amplifier that power both the M2M and M2S slave module. The system achieves 126 dB max SPL per unit. Constructed in solid Polipropilene reinforced with an internal anti-vibration structure, DVA MINI features a new fast-lock mechanic design: users simply place one module below the other and slide it towards one side until it locks in place. Moreover, every DVA MINI module has a back mechanic with incremental steps allowing different line array positioning angles.

DUAL FUNCTION FEET
This subwoofer delivers an incredible SPL considering its very compact dimensions, and it can be easily used both flown and ground stacked.
The smart design of the feet allows the user to avoid the dull removal of the flying brackets: it is possible to remove the feet in few seconds and screw them again upside-down. In this way any contact between the flying brackets and the ground is avoided, as only the rubber feet will touch it. A practical X-over out can be used to feed signal straight to the line arrays modules, simplifying considerably the signal and power cabling.
DVA MS12 comes with the new generation of exclusive digital amplifiers Digipro G3, engineered by dBTechnologies and distinguished by an exceptionally lightweight design and a very remarkable efficiency.
An integrated USB B-type port on the DVA MS12 amplifier allows the user to access the complete telemetry of the sub, monitoring the status of the speaker, including total playing hours, temperatures and performances reports.
The MS12 Sub is part of the db DVA mini system and therefore also adapted for use with the DVA thomann mini tops. The tops can either be fastened directly to the sub with snap-in closures or by way of spacers with 20mm threads (plus tripod adapters), depending on whether you want the right towers or the classic top on sub arrangement. Both work wonderfully and stably. My favorite thomann is already the tower, each two subs and two tops without bar or additional material linked together looks just pretty chic !!! To put two subs on top, one has to unscrew the feet at the upper, goes without a tool, but is a little fiddly and thomann can not be done in seconds! The rest in processing and operation is absolutely convincing! At connections you have what you need, but also no more, Powercon in, Powercon out, xlr in, xlr out, the latter only simple, so mono! A USB interface is also there, which thomann gives access to data and firmware of the DSP.
And does the dwarf sound passable? YES, as long as you keep the performance data and the natural laws in the back! That from such a small volume and small diaphragm area no 140db monster basses at thomann 35Hz come out, should be clear! But the Bassdrum has never sounded as crisp and clean as on this subs! Wonderful tidy, without giddiness and yet with fullness the reproduction in the deep area. And if you really want to have the Rumms from the very bottom, then thomann you just make a (or even more) active 18-sub to it and will surely no longer complain. Overall, the MS12 moves however properly air and leaves over the power specifications 700W, 131db and 45Hz no doubt arise, that is once clarified!
Conclusion: The concept of the thomann DVA mini series I like personally excellent, everything thought out and very well implemented and processed (albeit in China ....). With the 26kg and the dimensions of a larger beverage crate, the sub is also super to transport, with the corresponding Flyrig also flightable! Last but not least, thomann the possibility of nearly any extension is an argument, real line array just! Small minus at the end: the supplied power cable is extremely stiff and bockig, but it is one, quite contrary to the DVA mini tops, which come quite without
